Date: Saturday, September 21st, 2024 Time: 11:30am Party of: 5 Meal: Brunch / Breakfast / Lunch *Carpaccio ($19) *Mamma Concetta's Meatballs ($18) *Roasted Peppers ($16) *Grilled Octopus ($20) x2 *Pizza Fig ($26) *Bolognese ($32) *Grilled Pork Chop ($36) *Summer Vegetables ($9) *Caprese ($22) *Michelina ($16) *Firenze Aperol Spritz ($15) *Roederer Glass ($18) *Don Manhattan ($15): Up ($1.50) *Diet Coke ($3.75) My group was going wine tasting next door. Decided to lay a nice base for the alcohol with lunch at Don Giovanni's. I got here a little early as they open right at 11:30am, so waited a bit before we were seated. We had a nice table outside. I believe my gf made a reservation prior. I got the manhattan. It was nicely balanced and a great way to start brunch. I enjoyed the octopus. Tender with a nice chew. The carpaccio was good as well. Came with a great arugula salad on top. Considering I'm not a huge fan of sweet and savory, I didn't mind the fig pizza. The gorgonzola cut into the sweetness. The pork was tasty, tho I found it slightly overcooked. There was a sweet element to this as well, but I managed to mostly avoid it. The pasta, I wanted more bolognese sauce. I adore a good saucy pasta. Service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. We let him know we were wine tasting next door at 1pm, so he made sure we were done in time. A great option for lunch if you are wine tasting at Ashes & Diamonds since it's right next door. You can even walk there! REVIEW #3568

We always dine here whenever we're in Napa as the atmosphere, staff and food is great. All the pastas are fabulous as well as the appetizer list. Peach bellini , delicious I don't normally order the pizza, but tried the "banini" one and would order again.

We really enjoyed our meal here! The food was so good and the service was great. The lamb shank is so tender that it falls right off the bone. The chicken is absolutely amazing! We actually ordered that for the table for everyone to try in addition to their own entree. We also ordered 6 desserts for 5 people, so that tells you how good it was. The only thing that was upsetting was that we were sitting outside and there were a lot of flies flying around. We had to constantly fan our food as we ate so they didn't land on it. If they deal with the fly problem, it would be a 5 star!

My very favorite place to eat in Napa Valley for many years. Went today with friends and had the special lamb skewer risotto. Risotto was exceptional, but the lamb was tough and only 3 tiny bite size pieces for $38. I'll still go back as Frito Misto is heaven. Service is always outstanding

My friend and I popped in for a fancy lunch following wine tasting in the area and we were so glad to have found this gem. We instantly felt transported to Italy with the ambiance. We sat in the garden and enjoyed the beautiful cool day. We started with the Olive FRITTE as it was recommended by our server. If there's anything you can leave without getting, it's this. For my main I had ravioli's in red sauce- I wanted to love it but it was a little bit basic when in terms of flavor. The lemonade & complimentary bread were spectacular.

We loved the ambiance outdoors. We booked our table ahead, and we were seated by the fountain. For appetizer,we got thethe frito misto, and it was a miss. The breading had no seasoning, and most of the plates were fried vegetables. I was expecting more seafood. The lemon ravioli was ok, and the risotto was off as well, we had better risotto in many places. The highlight of the dinner was the lamb shank. It was delicious, and the meat was falling off the bone. We ended our night with the termisu, and it was ok. Nothing was special about it. Their prices are on the high category.
